MiniFreak - Technical Issues / PO-33 Sync Problem
« Last post by roughael on June 23, 2023, 08:57:33 pm »
Hi All,
I'm having the problem, that I cannot sync my Pocket Operator PO-33 with my Minifreak. I set the Sync-Options to "Jack", pluggen in "clock in", set PO- sync options to sy1, and split up the output signal with a ab-y cable. Checked PO-33 output of both ends and one is clearly transmitting the sync signal while the other one is streaming audio.
I was once able to get the minifreak to sync (don't ask me how). I left everything as it was and when I did it the next time, the bpm of minifreak went nuts until it eventually froze kompletely. This was reproduceable a few times until the minifreak didn't do any syncing or jumping bpm.
I'd be glad if anyone could help.
MiniLab MKII / Re: Minilab mk2 (Fl Studio 20 knobs settings)

I know this is crazy late, but I have a solution for you.

If you set the port on your midi controller to something specific (anything) and the port on the VST to the same port, it will properly pass the information to Analog Lab, allowing you to use the navigation knobs and default control layouts.
It's just a control device. Perfectly safe to turn off via it's switch. No need to 'dismount' or 'Eject' it as it isn't a RAM or storage device.

My keyboard: KeyLab MK2 61.

I selected DAW mode on the keylab mk2 61 and then selected Live. I also installed all required updates but that didn't help.

When I move the faders (no matter which of the nine), Ableton makes a strange noise. It seems that in addition to adjusting volume levels (since they're made for that), faders also send strange, short midi signals to the DAW.

Here is the youtube video: https://youtu.be/p7dGMpPgmD0

Maybe someone faced such a problem? Maybe I'm doing something wrong? Or do I have a defective keyboard?

Thank you in advance
MiniBrute 2S - Feature Requests / Re: Offset/Set Value for ALL active steps
« Last post by jesenth12 on June 20, 2023, 11:44:56 am »
Firstly, the Beatstep Pro is primarily a step sequencer, designed to control and sequence external gear, while the Minibrute 2S is a standalone analog synthesizer with built-in sequencing capabilities. The focus and intended use of these two products might have influenced the design decisions regarding the inclusion of specific features.
Pigments - Technical Issues / Re: Logic 10.7.8 is crashing Pigments

Well I'll be damned, this actually worked in this situation. Rebooting the machine was not necessary.

Here is a more permanent solution provided by the Arturia Helpdesk:
1- Quit Logic Pro X if it is running.
2- In the Finder, choose "Go to Folder" from the Go menu.
3- Type ~/Library/Preferences in the field and click Go.
4- Remove the following files from the Preferences folder:
- Note that if you've programmed any custom key commands, this will reset them to the defaults. You might want to export your custom key commands before performing this step. Learn how to Browse, import, and save key commands.
5- If you upgraded from an earlier version of Logic Pro, also remove the "com.apple.logic.pro" file.
6- Then restart the computer.
I just got a KSP. Very bummed there is no Program change function .Without this very basic function it is quite useless for live performance for me. Disappointed.

Analog Lab V / Re: Importing samples
« Last post by LBH on June 16, 2023, 03:52:12 pm »

If you mean presets and not audio samples, then you can import them in Analog Lab.
You can't load audio samples into Analog Lab. Analog Lab use sounds made in Arturias full software instrument applications.

It is possible to load audio  samples into individual full instruments that use samples, for the functionality the samples are used for in that application. They are used to make sounds.
Only some applications use samples.

A controller only triggers external sounds. It has'nt any onboard sounds.

If the mp3 is a full track, then you are on the wrong track. Then you shall use a host like a DAW or a simple audio file player of some kind. That depends.
