[Solved] Matrix 12 in Analog Lab 3 Multis
« on: December 27, 2017, 04:03:00 pm »
Hello once again!

I meant to mention this sooner, sorry.

Whilst swapping between sounds in AL3, whenever I move to a Multi that uses the Matrix12 for one or both of its sounds I get a LOUD POP/CRACK sound. It also happens when swapping back to any other instrument from the Matrix12. This used to happen in AL2 as well. It seems to be happening whether I am in standalone mode or in Cubase (8, 64 bit, in Windows 7).

Merely an annoyance in the studio, it's a real problem when performing live.

Also, sometimes I find that i get the same kind of loud cracking sound without warning, no matter what instrument is chosen, and I am suddenly left without any sound whatsoever! Sometimes I am able to restore sounds by changing patches, but on at least one occasion it has happened and I have had to reboot completely!

The same thing happens to me.  Though I'm mostly interested in composing music, it's only a slight annoyance but, it does POP with a fading echo sound sometimes.  I didn't notice if it occured with the Matrix-12 but I'll have to check that in the future.
Sometimes, I also loose the sound completely (though rarely) and I do have to reselect the instrument.  Also in AL2.

Hi,

We've updated Analog Lab 3 yesterday. The click/pop issue with Matrix12 presets is now fixed. Open the Arturia Software Center to update.

Regards,

Matthieu
