Any news on the 1.5 release date?  Are the contents of 1.5 a secret?  I saw the "1.5 Demo" thread so I have a few clues..

Yep - no news yet.  Waiting with baited breath here, too!  My little bit of time with the beta (at Gear Fest) was a whole lot of fun.  I think it will be worth the wait. 

OT:  Paul - I saw you in Sound On Sound ages ago and was pleasantly surprised to see you join the forum.

Yeah, its good being in here.  Never thought I would be selling a analogue drum machine and replacing it with a digital one!!  Yikes!

Yeah - Spark really took me off-guard, too.   Loads of fun, though, and I don't have to worry so much about upkeep of vintage gear.  Now to make more time to play with it!

Dude - I posted what I saw at Gear Fest in another thread, but to recap there are filters modeled on Oberheim, record-scratching FX, spreading notes across the sequencer and drum pads (same sound, but chromatically) and other things.  I didn't get to spend too much time with it, as others came along and wanted a turn.   Still, what I saw really piqued my interest!

I was just about to post a message asking for the ability to chromatically spread a Synth sound across the Pads - but like a good Forum user, searched first and found it mentioned above.

Is this a likely upgrade?

What can I say, I love step-sequencing with synths.

Yep!  That was part of the demo I played with.  I believe I read elsewhere on here that Arturia hopes to release it yet this month (Sept. 20120), but I don't know for sure (I'm not an employee).  Will be cool when it hits (no pun intended  ).
