pssst. flstudio recently release FLSlayer - VERY realistic electric guitar synth.  VERY realistic and very fun.

Had to try FL Studio on your reccomendation. Sure does make Storm sound like an old toy (which it is), but Storm still shines in one category: ease of use. Of course, that's partly because of its limitations, but for the likes of me, easier is more inspiring. Too bad it's still a toy, and apparently always will be.

An alternative to Storm...?

Can anyone give me some suggestions for better software than Storm...?  I'm a complete newbie, and know nothing -- but am not afraid of a steep learning curve.

Anyone got any advice?
