Jupiter Manual Discrepancies

Am I missing something here ?

Page 45 section: 5.3.8
“To deactivate the MIDI control of a knob, simply uncheck the “active” option in the control MIDI window.
Not seening that option on this registered full working copy for Mac OS 10.4.9 Audio Units plug-in (Digital Performer)

Page 91 Section 9.1.2
Preference configuration:
In order to access the preferences window, click on the menu “Preferences”.
This window allows you to the global preferences of the Jupiter-8V application.

Not seeing that either.  :(
I am hoping that this is an oversight as this is a new product (very very cool product albeit) and these ‘features’ are to be included in some future release.
Not being able to unlearn CC controllers has it’s frustrations.

I also don't have the midi preference menu or midi tool bar. But if you want to cancel the midi controls bring up the midi learn window and click on the midi cc number and you get a list of numbers with the none option, this will cancel the midi control.

Thank you that worked !
I tried clicking on everything initially in the MIDI control window but I must have missed that.
Thanks

Btw. if you want to "unlearn" a complete MIDI-setup the quick way, then just delete the midi.prefs or standalone.prefs files in your Arturia/Jupiter8-V/saves folder. But then all of the MIDI-data is gone. New files will be created after the next time you close the program.
