Speakers causing robotic sound when pressing keys
« on: December 26, 2022, 05:44:13 pm »
Hey y'all
Just got the 88 mkii and going through setup. When pressing the keys either in Piano v2 or on the keyboard itself, it creates a robotic sound although there is pitch. We can change to headphones and it doesn't make the sound.
We are total nubes at this. Please be gentle.

Hi Jeff, congrats on your purchase.

Sounds like it could be a Buffer size issue.  Have you tried lowering the sample rate?

Sorry to say that I don't know what you mean.

Just a follow up. I was able to get it working. Th ASIO drivers were not initialized in the software.
Not sure what ASIO is.  :)  But that fixed it.

Glad you got it sorted.

For future reference, adjusting the Buffer Size and Sample rate is via the Menu top left.
