Suddenly 7 keys stop working
« on: March 23, 2022, 08:00:30 pm »
Suddenly 7 keys stop sounding on my KeyLab 61 mkii. They are all spread along the 5 octaves, some whites and some black keys, so no pattern I can tell. The pitch wheel is acting as a volume. I have never created any kind of user presets or something that could have switched to. I opened the Midi Control Center, and I can see the green down arrow at the top left when I press any working key. When I press any of the faulty ones, arrow wont light up unless I put lot of pressure on it, but still no sound. So, I thought of resetting to factory settings...but I can't!! I read that I have to press both Oct+ and Oct- while powering on, but I don't get the message to reset on the lcd display!
Any ideas?

Hi Damiano, only just seen your post. Did you ever manage to factory reset keyboard? Im having the same issue. Nothing is appearing on lcd to confirm reset.
