Pitch Bend, Mod Wheel, Pad not working in Pro Tools
« on: February 15, 2021, 03:58:35 pm »
Hi everyone,

I'm totally new to MIDI controller and I just got myself the 88 mkII. The DAW I'm using is Pro Tools 12.5
Things work find when I insert Analog Lab V or Piano 2 plugin into instrument track using Analog Lab mode. I'm able to record sound.
Controllers and keyboard are working fine too when in DAW mode.

However, what I'm facing currently is when I use other virtual instrument plugin (such as Kontakt), all knobs, wheels, and pad are not working at all. Only keyboard is working. I tried to play and use the pitch bend wheel, there's no pitch bend signal sending in.

What have I missed? Do I need to set up user mode to configure each controllers in the MCC? I'm totally new and trying to learn how to make use of my device. I really appreciate if anyone is able to point me some directions or guide.

Thanks!

Welcome.

Certainly mod and pitchbend just use regular cc's which your DAW and VSTs should recognise. If it doesn't, then the problem is at the DAW/plugin end.
