Hi... happy new year to you all.

When using V Collection synths & modifying the sounds using the KeyLab rotary encoders, the parameters of the synths jump (or snap) to the value commanded by the encoder, which isn't ideal!

This happens when the keyboard is in Analog Lab mode & also when in User mode - I have saved 3 User Presets with MIDI CCs identical to those in Analog lab mode but using the Relative #1, #2 & #3 options (instead of Absolute). Each Relative setting gives different behaviour but none solve the problem (2 of the settings limit the values to a small range either near the start or finish, & the 3rd setting either opens or closes the parameter fully).

This behaviour happens both in standalone mode & also within Cubase as a plug-in hence is probably not a DAW issue.

Strangely, this is OK in the Analog Lab VSTi, & also in Pigments, i.e. when moving an encoder the parameter does not jump - when I start to move an encoder, the on-screen control just starts to move smoothly.

In Midi Control Centre, DAW & User mode faders are set to 'pickup' & in Cubase I have also selected 'pickup' for all hardware controls.

Is this normal? Any thoughts? Since the encoders are 'endless' I can't understand this behaviour!

Thanks!

At the risk of appearing that I’m talking to myself, after a few emails back & forth with Arturia support they have acknowledged that it is indeed a bug with V Collection.
