Mapping for Matrixbrute
« on: June 22, 2020, 07:31:29 pm »
How difficult would it be to have the collection map to the Matrixbrute? At least matching parameters. VCO1 to VCO1 etc.

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

I don't have a Matrixbrute. But i believe it can be used as a midi controller that send midi protocol data.
I can't tell how  much excactly you will be able to control software. That depend on how Matrix brute work as a controller.

I'm not sure what you think. There is many applications in V-Collection that does'nt even use VCOs, and others that do might not have excactly the same parameters as your Matrixbrute.

But all the applcations in V-Collection use pitchbend data and such and midi cc messages. You may find, that more or less in the individual parameters by default respond to Matrixbrute without doing any mapping. You can map V-Collections individual applications using midi learn. You can even create multiple maps.
Also keep im mind that DAWs offer own ways to map plugins.

However - i suggest you download at least one application and manual and try it out as demo, to see if you find it's difficult.

There  is'nt a common mapping for all the applications.

Perhaps learn more about V-Collection too.

Hope this helps.
