MKII 61 in Reaper - MK II PORT 1 and PORT 2
« on: May 03, 2020, 06:39:15 am »
Greetings,  Have connected the MKII via USB interface to computer running latest version of Reaper.  In Reaper the MIDI preferences show two options for MKII - Port 1 and Port 2.   Which port should be used to record MIDI into the DAW?   How are each Port assigned to the MKII Hardware when mapped into Reaper?
Gratefully.

I don't have a Arturia controller. It look like you are on Windows. So as far as i know -

You shall use Port 1 for the Keyboard setup. Please consult Reapers documentation about this, if yu need guidance.

For using Keylab as a Reaper control surface you use Port 2 like this: https://www.arturia.com/faq/keylabmkii/keylab-mkii-tips-tricks

You need both setups, to get everything to work.
