Unpredictable recording in Ableton
« on: November 05, 2019, 10:22:14 pm »
So far, Arturia Beatstep Pro has only given me unpredictable behavior when recording. I use it as a master for Ableton and even though I synced MIDI clock delay I still experience weird overdub at the beginning. It looks like it starts recording twice in quick succession. Furthermore, if I somehow manage to record something in entirety, there's a good chance I get some artifacts, and they sound different every time I start recording. I realize this is a monophonic sequencer, but this happens in drum mode. Can this sequencer handle delay and reverb effects??

Also, if I use Beatstep while looping something after some random amount of time Ableton will exit the loop. This only happens when I am using this controller.
