The V-Collection is great for vintage style analog sounds (and now vintage digital sounds too, with the DX7, Synclavier and Fairlight), and a nice complement to something like Serum which is great for more modern sounds.
They're maybe not as authentic-sounding as Repro or The Legend, but having access to so many virtual vintage synths in one package is great. It's frequently on sale at 50% off, so if you don't want to buy second hand it will probably be under $250 again soon.
