4 or 5 octaves version of KeyStep
« on: August 22, 2019, 04:59:50 pm »
hello all

i reckon every one has its own ideas about how should be the perfect controller

in my case i have mostly been frustrated with what is generally proposed

i need small in sizes but without the usual restrictions

why not a 4 or 5 octaves minikeys keyboard with aftertouch, CV and gate ouputs, (including CV out for the Aftertouch please !!!) with few midi cc dials /potis and their cv outputs

also, as an organist i would like to be able to easily stack several mini keyboards one over the other witout the controle being an obstacle, so i woul like the minimum controls at a side of the keys instead than at the top

then, still dreaming, why not place a stripe of some polyphonic pressure technology like Sensel's Morph in a stripe format placed under the keys so we could even have polyphonic aftertouch in a small format controller...

Well, in order to stack one mini controller over another, you could either buy (if you could find one) or build your own shelf unit to fit whichever controller you want on whatever shelf you need (a shelf, for lack of a better word... STAND would be better instead of shelf)
