Analog clock input and Start / stop behaviour

Currently it appears that

1) Start / stop is actually not activated by a trigger, but the sequencer 'Runs' with gate on.  It would be nice if a trigger started the sequencer and then the next trigger stopped the sequencer when using the ring of the TRS clock in jack.

2) Analog clock sets the internal tempo of the Microfreak rather than stepping the sequencer.  This means you frequently get syncopated start times when the sequencer  / arp  is manually started.  It would be preferable that the analog clock in steps the sequencer.  Currently it acts as a clock source.  This means that irregular trigger patterns fed to the clock in result in odd tempo shifting behaviour.

I support both requests. Of course the swing feature would not work for this kind of one-step-per-trigger clocking. But the advantages would be much higher. Swing should be kept of course for all other clocking types.

Additionally I suggest, that the start function (press "Pattern") should work also for Triggering. I want to set the sequencer to "runnable" with hitting the play button, and have it playing when the first clock pulse comes in.
Have a look at the sequencer of the Roland SH-101 / SH-01a. This is, how a one-step-per-trigger sequencer should work like.

With regard to point 1, I had a similar problem when connecting my MF to my Keystep via analog clock: starting/stopping only briefly stops the MF arpeggiator/sequencer, weird! Then I found that if I set the Keystep "Sync clock start" to Gate mode, and I connect a TRS jack, the MF would start/stop according to the Keystep. Hope it helps!
