autostart via keylab button press

I'd love it if some button press, or combination of buttons, on the keylab, could trigger the analog lab application to start up on my PC. I realize this would probably require some kind of background service running, waiting for events, but it would be pretty nice to start making music without ever touching a mouse or interacting with windows.

I suspect that if you had something running in the background to do this, it would also take over all midi commands making it unusable for other software like DAWs etc. but, I could be wrong
