BSP 2.0.1.6 Not Recording Drum Roll
« on: March 26, 2019, 02:49:20 am »
HI Everyone,

Hoping that someone here can help with the issue below.

I'm in Drum mode trying to record the roll on a hat (from a DRM1) on a 16 step sequence.
When I press the Pad + Roller I hear the roll fine. However when I try to record it, after letting go of the pads it simply plays back the individual notes - no roll.

Note that this isn't a new issue for me - it never worked.

My Firmware is 2.0.1.6
I've tried clearing the pattern, and even did a factory reset but I'm still getting the same issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, this is very frustrating. I'm happy to share a video if that helps.

The roller is a live function and isn't recorded when you are in record mode.  As the roller works by division of the beat, it can't really be recorded as most of the time it's rolling faster than the step speed.
Currently running https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1311723 / www.modulargrid.net, sequencing with KSP and recording with a Zoom (no DAW involved, for better or worse ;) )
