diy connections to cv I/O
« on: September 18, 2018, 07:32:25 pm »
Hi,

Only had my MB for a week but so far love it loads.
My curiosity has lead me to want to see more of what is going on in the matrix and would like to connect my analog scope to some of the CV outs.
My question is how well are these protected.
The manual says the inputs are tolerant to +- 15v.
I would like to know some more details, such as what would happen if I accidentally short an output or input or incorrectly plug a voltage into an output.
Also searching the internet and on this forum I can't find details of current supplied by the outputs or required by the inputs (I know it will be very low and don't intend driving anything directly but would be interested to know).

Thanks to all who post in these forums. So far it's helped me out no-end as I find my way around this beast.

Cheers, Steve.
