240 bpm tempo limitation ?
« on: September 07, 2018, 12:47:51 am »
I just bumped into the 240 bpm limitation.

Still messing around to get triplets quadruplets and sextuplets in the same sequence. See the "Triplets triplets triplets!!!" topic.
But using a 48 steps sequence as a 4/4 bar at 240 bpm, the max tempo is in fact 90bpm. Which is pretty sloooooow.
`
It's a 3 digit display, thus why not 999 bpm ?!

Clock it externally and it can be 9999 bpm.

I thought this was the feature request forum. Am I mistaken? ;-)
Plus I don't own anything that can send me an external clock except a computer, and I'm trying to build a setup without it.
Anyways, thanks for the tip!

Of course! Didn't mean to negate your request; it is certainly a good one. I just thought I'd mention the external clock thing because I'm heckin' excited about audio rate sequencing!

And yeah, you do have something that can send you external clock; VCOs, LFOs, looped envelopes etc. all on the minibrute 2s :)
