Two strange malfunctions at startup

Sometimes first happens and you can't do anything
2nd is a little bit easier, as it allows me to play and switch patterns.

2 months ago I opened the unit to check contacts under the pads - everything were fine. When I assembled it again - problem disappeared and now here it is again (

Any thoughts?

Just reupgraded firmware and made hard reset - nothing. I have situattion #2, save button is always ON (

exact same  problem here.
I tried reinstalling the newest firmware and did factory reset. But that did not help.

Seems like a hardware issue... You may have to send back your units.
