new keystep cannot even make more than 4 step sequence either methods .help :(

i have followed all instructions and no recorded or appended sequence will even expand to five steps let alone 8 or 64 please help me this is new

i have put it as internal control on a deepmind 12 and microkorg xl  please also note jumper positions at back totally fail to corespond to said positions so positioned opposit to advised positions i can play each synth fine as is intended.

The diagram is ambiguous, yes, but if you consider that the darker markings are the switch positions, it's not opposite.  Confusing when the switches are white.  An actual practical reason why the Keystep Black works better

How are you trying to record?  Are the factory patterns running?  Does the arpeggiator work?
