Velocity sensitive pads?

How do I make use of the velocity sensitive pads. So far all I hear is Accent and Normal.

Pad velocity is mostly useful for MIDI/USB outputs.
Concerning the sounds made by the device, there is a velocity threshold value settable via MIDI Control Center software. Pad velocity under this value would be "normal" and over this value would be "accented".

I'm confused. When I hit the pads all I hear are accent and normal volume differences. How do I get 'velocity sensitive pads'?  I'm familiar with the MCC software ability to change the threshold of the accent. But how do I use the 'velocity sensitive pads'?

Also, is there a midi implemtation table? It's not in the manual.

Hi chaka,
This is a normal behavior. DrumBrute is an analog gear. There is only "normal" and "accented" sounds. Again, pad sensitivity is for MIDI/USB output and to decide when to trig accented sound or not (using threshold setting). Hope this is clearer.

ok, I read the manual more... so I can change the event velocity of a step in the software manually to a value of 1-127, and then how do I get the drumbrute to play those values. This is really wierd.

Can you provide me with the midi implentation chart and tables, please?

I think this is not clear:
There is only two sounds available by instrument: "Accented" or "not accented". Velocity will just change wether a sound is accented or not via the accent threshold settable in the MCC. It will not change the volume of the sounds.

Velocity is computed using the way you press pads when live recording a sequence: hardly, softly, etc.
Velocity is sent via MIDI/USB the way it has been recorded (using pads or MIDI/USB inputs).
If you enter steps manually, the default velocity is 100. If "accent threshold" is < 100, default velocity is "accent threshold" - 1.
If you enter accented steps manually, the default velocity is 127.
