« on: January 23, 2018, 06:08:49 am »
What up people?! Just got my AudioFuse today SPACEGRAY! Can’t wait
To dive in. I’m curious about the additional 8 in and outs via ADAT...
Can someone tell me what I need to accomplish this, as I’ve never used
ADAT and don’t know much about it...thanks in advance

The audio fuse is a BEAST!!!!!!!!!!

How to use adat? Your external daw or machine must have adat in order to use it.

It depends on what your setup is. You can search the internet on what adat is but what dont you list your setup and then it will be better to give you a unique reply rather than a blanket post...

The obvious way to use adat is to connect an external 8 channel preamp or soundcard with adat cables to your Audiofuse. That will give you 8 extra inputs for things like micing up drums etc. You'll need to make sure that either the audio fuse or the external pre is the master clock and that the other is set up as a slave to that so that both units are locked digitally. There's an Arturia tutorial on it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1BNLnWK0s9M
