« on: March 28, 2005, 12:08:12 pm »
Hi, this is for any of Arturia people

How can I determine what's the exact serial , progressive number in my CS-80V? I mean , is there any part in the s.n. which allows me to know my CS-80V is n.xxxx ,different from n. xxxy ?

Thanks for any reply!!

Max..
It's software !!!
I'm afraid you have exactly the same CS-80 V than other users..
Or I didn't understand your question..
But, anyway..
Good idea to differentiate all the copies from the serial number..
In terms of sound ?
Some users won't be happy, other will..

When I first read that it just made me think about the diffrence between earley and later Roland MKS 80's where the later ones had Rolands chips in stead of the Curtis ones. I imagined Arturia changing the emulation on later realeses to have different components   . Luckily I think the CS80 used the same chips all the way through
