renaming presets in standalone the version
« on: March 27, 2005, 05:55:59 pm »
hello
i am using MM V and the update(V2) mainly in standalone for live performances.
I would like to know how to rename the presets that i create because it's hard for me to browse through 'User' and 'Default 1 ' -'Default 2'- to identify a sound i made for a specific tune.
Before the update (V2), i created some presets but now they are considered Quicktime  AMC Movies(?) and
I cannot read them anymore with MM V!
Do i need to change the extension of these files to be able to read them?
Can we create .amb files (banks)

I had this question, too. Simply click on the name as it is displayed in the tool bar. You can then type a new name. Save it and the name is changed.

Hope this helps.

hi
if you are using a pc
try right clicking on files that have turned into quick time files and select open with.then choose Mg modular v from the list of programs hopefully all the files in that folder should change back to Mg ones
