Variable sequencer step index?

Would it be possible to vary the step index on the sequencer so that instead of counting up one step at a time, it could step 2, 3 ,4 ,5 etc. This could produce some pseudo euclidian possibilities - great for finding new ideas!

do you mean like on a Roland 185 or intellijel metropolis, where a step can be repeted up to 8x or - done faster - used for ratcheting?
i asked for this too in my feature request thred
https://forum.arturia.com/index.php?topic=90177.0
since the - fantastic! - beat step pro update is done and a new synth in the pipe (?),
it now would be sooo good to get some Matrixbrute care.
may i memtion more program patches, complete on board editing
( instead of using a computer) and some more ...?
