I don't have the means to test it in other DAWs but I just noticed that when in Studio One 3, when I set the release button on for the prophet v (not the vs) and then close Studio One or close the project file, every time I reopen the release button is off again.

Appears to be a bug, can anyone please verify?

I can confirm. This is a serious bug.

I don't know if the new updates have fixed this.

No this is not fixed in todays update version 3.0.2.

Arturia this serious bug need to be fixed as you can't use Prophet in a project at all and have release.
It don't matter if it's a saved preset or not. The release is turned of, when the project load again.

I also use Studio One 3.

Thank you LBH, really helps when you can get verification.

Seems like a lot of people are using Studio One these days. I don't know if you caught it but I spied that even in some of the promo videos for Arturia that apparently Arturia uses Studio One.

Hi Tausenberg.

Thanks for the Info.
I have'nt seen those promo videos. If the are using Studio One, then it's odd they hav'nt made FX versions of the applications that can use audio inputs, as that's needed in Studio One as it is. And the issue in this topic should not have been present.

I don't know if this release on/ off issue only apply to studio one. I don't think so. Have'nt tried on my old 32 bit light version of Cubase and Ableton.
I'm a bit tired Arturia don't test and fix things themself before they make releases that take a lot of time to download, install and then check again without pay, only to find vital things don't work, have not been fixed sometimes even if claimed to be fixed, or find new bugs.
I think Arturia need to get some more repect.
Hardware including cars, furnitures, clothes and other stuff would have been forced to be taken back from the marked and until it worked. Also marketing has to be in touch with the reality.

I have freeware that have no issues with aftertouch, sequencer MIDI sync and playmodes/ (re)trigger and reset modes rtc., LFO sync and workmodes/ (re)trigger and reset rmodes  etc., Sustain pedal, parameter values and other things. I wonder why  Arturia can't do it. I really wish it. But i can't use applications not working or even suddenly something not working that did before.

Sorry about all this. I'm just so disapointed again. I can't see why i should spend all that time downloadidng and installing the x.0.2 updates.

I am disappointed too, especially considering that in some ways things like the prophet issues or the modular v issues, it's like, these apps are much more than 10 years old now and they go to V collection 5 and some things are steps back.

Oh damn, I just realized that it's worse than I originally thought.

I thought that release on/off setting was lost every time the project file was closed and then opened, turns out the setting is lost every time I switch between instruments in Studio One. That's almost breaking. This is ridiculous. Almost have half a mind to go back to Prophet V until they fix this. This feels like a step back, for the most part, in so far as I can tell, Prophet V, there wasn't even really anything wrong with it.

Picked up V Collection 6 and I'm dealing with this in MainStage.

Specifically, Prophet V3 doesn't remember when I set sustain to Legacy, even though the indicates it's in Legacy when you view it. Totally a deal-breaker for me.

I bought this not only for myself, but also to make a special edition MainStage template for it. But I can't use this for myself live, let alone sell a template (for others to use with their copy of V Collection) with all the sustain pedals settings broken.

Please take a look at this issue.
Thank you.
