Drumbrute glitching!
« on: December 22, 2016, 09:50:55 pm »
How frustrating!  The sequencer keeps acting up...sounds like it's tripping up over itself.  Happens with or without Syncing to a DAW after random amounts of time.  ???

The repeat function is especially unstable and seems to throw everything off after using it but I can't even work with a simple 4 part rhythm without anomalies -  I think this will have to go back to the shop, none of my other machines acts up like this.

I haven't experienced this, but do you have anything connected to the MIDI IN or USB when this is happening? Perhaps it's receiving external MIDI signal

There's another thread that mentions that this is being fixed in a firmware that's in beta testing now.

Hi guys.

If you are interested to receive a beta firmware that should fix your issue.

I've just sent a PM with a download link.

Best wishes for 2017 !

yes, I no longer have a pc with windows 7 or newer. I don't want to have to install software on a friend's computer and keep hassling them every time there's an update. I guess I'll just have to buy a cheap laptop or deal with the bugs. I use an ipad and a chromebook now and I have an XP desktop.

Hi.

If you face issues on OSX, just follow this FAQ article and it will work flawlessly.

FYI...I've only tested it for an hour or so, but...beta driver seems to solve the step-repeat/timing problem for me!  Haven't experienced any new bugs yet either.

Got it. Well for whatever it's worth I also use a PC with XP (since my Mackie Onyx driver only works with XP), but I also use a macbook with Sierra, which is what I've been using for the firmware upgrades. Hopefully after this next upgrade you won't experience any more glitching though...
