Thinking of buying a DrumBrute, but not now!
« on: November 17, 2016, 01:24:59 am »
I was ready to drop some $$$ on a DrumBrute, but with all the problems getting a warranty replacement keybed for my MiniBrute I put that on hold. Arturia support is no where to be found, promised a replacement keybed never delivered. Opened up support ticket October 1 & still nothing. No responses to my many many emails. So all you future buyers be WARNED!

Hate seeing posts like this.
Arturia is a very small company that puts out great sounding and affordable products. I had an issue with my Microbrute and it took them a while to reply too.. but then they replaced it with no fuss.. Good company,, but a smaller company than you think.

The Drumbrute is its own thing, ok. Yesterday I was experimenting with it by running it through VST effects and changing the general frequency response and you can get some cooler sounds out of it. It's nicer to tame the heights, dip something at 200 Hz, adding some low end, adding some 300-800 Hz, 3 kHz...
