Keystep: sending random pitch bend data
« on: October 09, 2016, 06:15:48 pm »
Using Logic Pro 9.2.1 on OSX Yosemite (10.10.5) with Keystep (firmware 1.0.1.15) connected via USB.

I thought I was losing my mind when very simple lines were suddenly out of tune.

I managed to capture this while recording MIDI.

I'm playing a simple chord from the Keystep. As you can see it sent a Pitch Bend at position 9.2.3.77

Is this a known bug?  (No, I didn't touch the pitch bend ribbon while playing)

Hi shabbyroad,
This is not a known bug. Are you sure no cable were touching the PitchBend strip ?
Best

Hi Ben, I'm 99.9% sure nothing was touching the PitchBend strip.   Yesterday the same issue happened while the keystep was on a stand untouched.
I'll do some further troubleshooting because it's strange that the pitchbend would appear on a different MIDI channel.
