Triggering patern with ableton (and a footswitch)
« on: April 21, 2016, 04:58:29 pm »
Hello there !
I have a little issue with the beatstep pro that may need your expertise :
I programmed multiple paterns with the BST drum sequencer that fit the differents loops of my song and i d'like to be able to increase the number of the patern with a footswitch or if its not possible to programme a "song mode" with ableton live (the new chaining patern mode is not practical for what i want to do). The top thing would be to have the possibility to stay on one sequence for as long as i want and by pressing on a foot switch (leave you with free hands) i could go to the next patern.
Do you know if i can send a midi message to the BST for this application ?
I hope i'am being clear enough because i'am french and it is sometimes difficult to be precise in those situation when it is not your mother tong :)
Thank you very much for your answer and have a good day !

Etienne
