Selecting a drum without the drum sounding
« on: March 21, 2016, 09:00:01 pm »
The title says it all. Is there a way to select a drum pad while a sequence is running without the drum sounding?

Basically, I want to edit a sequence that's playing, but when I select the snare, it fires the snare. I can hit the pads very gently and get it to go to one of the tracks, but I don't want to ginger it and risk something like a kick firing off out of time.

So you know the button that says "drum" right. the one you push to select the drum sequencer. Well if you just hold that "drum" button down you won't here the drum sounds when pushing your drum pads.

Also utilize the manual as this sort of thing is quiet readily available.

Thank you for the first part, as for the second...

Also utilize the manual as this sort of thing is quiet readily available.

I'm always up for a bit of passive aggressiveness, but if you're going to do so, know the difference between quite and quiet.

My apologies for missing that one sentence in the manual. Yes, I found it, and it's one sentence.

New I dan't aven sea it in the menual mi self.

Seriously, I don't see it in my manual. All I see is how to turn on/off muting. Sorry about the snideness. Sometimes it seems like people don't bother reading manuals is all.

But come on, spelling isn't that important!
