Hi all,
I am trying to figure out what cable I should use to connect the 1/4" line output of my audio interface to the microbrute audio input. What I want to do is have a fairly hot signal so I can have a good attempt at triggering the envelope. I could use a Y-cable, but I would lose half the stereo signal and I doubt that will be sufficient to trigger the envelope. I also don't really want to have to buy a mixer to sum L+R to mono. Anybody have any recommendations for a cable or adapter that will do what I need? Or can I trigger the envelope with just one channel of the stereo signal?
