spark 2 in reaper daw

Hi guys
Can anyone please give me some setup hints on how to get the spark 2 software working correctly within reaper DAW , when I first load it to a track as a vst it tells me I need to make some middi  adjustments in the preferences of my daw. Can't seem to find anywhere in the manual I can get it working but it seems to crash after a while to the point where the  sequencer will function but  loose sound from the plugin on the track [instrument track]
If anyone is using reaper and spark together please help

I'm using them together with no problems (so far)
You need to disable the Spark controller in the Reaper MIDI settings, and let the Spark software connect to the controller on its own. ... I'm using the Spark CDM btw, but I doubt it's any different with the SparkLE.
