EXT MIDI Problem - BSP Pro records only gate, not notes

Hello there!

New problem in town.
I have the BSP Pro connected to a Microkorg via MIDI, both ways (Microkorg OUT > BSP IN, BSP OUT > Microkorg IN)
Now, when I try to record phrases from the Microkorg to the BSP (using the BSP Pro kind of as a looper for Microkorg) the BSP seems to record only the note triggers, but without the notes. Every note recorded is C2, whatever I play, but rythmically just as I played it.
Why?

As supplementary info, Microkorg is on Channel 1, SEQ1 on BSP Pro is also set to send and receive on Channel 1.
When I record notes directly on the BSP pads, it works. But as I use a lot of octave shifts, it is kind of impractical to record from the BSP pads, which offer only one octave.

Any sugestions? Thanks!

Hi boganoctav I think you need a midi thru out of the beatstep into the microkorg midi in. midi out only send midi data out from the device the midi out jack is attached to it does not send any of the midi data from its input to its output
