SparkLE standalone vs Ableton VST ...
« on: December 30, 2015, 07:37:29 pm »

Just hooked up my new SparkLE controller and installed the software. Everything works perfectly in standalone mode; however, as a VST in Ableton Live 9, my controller doesn't connect to Spark 2. I tried at least 3 "fixes" I found here in the forums, but it's a no go.

Was wondering if anyone can she any light? How can I make Ableton/Spark 2 see the controller?

Thanks!

Check that your SparkLE is not connected to Live in live preferences.
Check that you have audio out by pressing pads on Spark2 gui.
.......testing.......

I have had the SparkLE for 6 months now and I have never got it to work as a controller in Abelton. It just refuses to connect the Spark software with the hardware. I have tried everything. Basically the hardware is useless as a controller.

I don't know if this helps, but my spark LE controller has issues with a different usb cable. I went back to the factory white cable and I have had no issues since. It used to randomly drop connection with me mid performance because I used a longer, right angle. darker colored usb cable. The white one drives me crazy, but I guess I have to use it!
