Spark CDM - Jog Wheel Won't Switch Betwee Project/Kit/Instrument/Disk

So I just today received my Spark CDM, which I ordered off eBay. The little I've messed with it, I am quite pleased. I've been using Spark2 by itself for most of the year now, and aside from a few foibles quite love it.
One problem I'm having using the Spark CDM with Spark2 software tho: Using the jog wheel, I can't switch between Project/Kit/Instrument/Disk browsing.
According to the Spark2 manual: "Click and hold the Jog Wheel, then scroll it to select a different browser (Project, Kit, Instrument or Disk)."
This is not working.
According to the manual that came with my Spark CDM: "To change from Kit to Instrument mode on SPARK's hardware controller, press and hold for 1 second the Jog Dial to change from Kit to Instrument mode."
This is also not working.
I'm assuming the Spark2 manual is more up-to-date and correct.
My Spark CDM firmware is v1.1.2.2 .. which appears to be the most current firmware.
My system specs:
Win 7 Pro 64-bit
AMD FX6300 CPU
16 gigs DDR3 1866MHz RAM
Realtek High Definition Audio
GeForce GTX560 Ti

Yeah I'm having the same issue, I'm not sure how to switch tabs in the library with the CDM.  Works fine with Spark LE.  Ideally I'd like it if I could just hold down shift and turn the jog wheel to switch tabs.

I got this answered and sorted over in the Users forum.
So you hold the Select button and turn the dial. This, of course, is used to change the filters. However, when you have the Library screen visible in the software, and you keep scrolling past all the filters (up) you end up in the tabs at the top to switch between the different Libraries ... not ideal, but it certainly does work.
This instructions in the manual are not correct in this regard.

OK that's a solution but that makes me want to go back to Spark 1 software.
