Scales don't work after update to 1.2.0.6

I've updated a couple weeks ago and have just lived with the fact that the different scales no longer work. Only Chromatic mode. When I try to switch to other scales the pad of the scale is illuminated but there is no change, still in Chromatic.

Am I doing something wrong or is this yet another bug??

just incase you have forgotten. you can only hear the change in scales  via the knobs
it doesn't effect the pads

That's not how it worked when I had the older firmware version! It would only respond to notes that were within the defined scale (and it was amazing) some of the pads would be doubled to fill the "keyboard". So I would be able to jam out pads and always be "in key". Did you have the older version???

Wow, yea so of course after reading the manual I find that this was indeed a bug. 
The best bug ever. What a horrible tease to have that amazing feature and now its gone forever.
I was forced to updated because...It wouldn't allow me to save any of my patterns.
What a horrible and wonderful machine this is.

Hi guys , I'm lost on this ?  I can set scales and the knobs change to that scale ? as it always has been . Ive never seen the pads change to scale does anyone remember  what fw this was on and where in the manual its tells you this.

I've never seen this either. In fact I made an assumption that it did when I got mine at launch, tried it, failed, RTFM then sighed a little bit

I told you that it only works on the knobs

and like everybody else here, I have never had it work on the pads

Hey Terry,

It doesn't show in the manual mine was just super special when I first got it and It was incredibly nice cause I could go nuts on the pads and it would always be in the selected key. But alas!

It's also pretty incredible to have people not believe you when the amount/severity of issues with this unit are super impressive.
