Controlling Program Volumes via MIDI ?
« on: May 09, 2015, 02:21:20 pm »
Hi,

I have an Origin Desktop hooked up to a MIDI controller keyboard featuring a bunch of faders. I would like to use 4 of those faders to control the volume (VCA) of the four Programs. Is this possible via MIDI? Manual seems silent on the subject...

Thx.

Hi Laurence,

this thread may help: http://forum.arturia.com/index.php?topic=10116.msg27716#msg27716

Each of the individual output levels in a program can be assigned to a midi controller, by default they seem to be on CC 11, 13, 15 and 18 (the CC MIDI assignments are stored per program and can be find under Live->MIDI)

If you have a Multi with four programs and want to control all 16 individual output levels in the four programs, you'll need to assign each program slot in the Multi to a separate MIDI channel (in the Multi "Slots" tab).

Is this what you were asking?
