missing step on clock option (gate only)

Hi, anyone know why step on clock is missing from the minibtute and present on the micro, for me this is a glaring omission as you cant fully sync pitch etc using CV in with other analogue gear, essentially this cuts out the keybed. Hoping a firmware update can resolve this however but i'm having to sync using midi to my other mates analogue gear as as you know midi is crap.

The Minibrute SE connection manual shows:

Seq Step/Gate Mode
CC 114
0 to 63 = Clk
64 to 127 = Gate/Tap

I haven't tried this, but should work if it's in the manual?

Edit: If this is regarding the Minibrute original and not SE, then this will not be possible.
