Trigger Quantization

Hey,

When using the Beatstep as a step sequencer, can you get it to lock your various triggers to the quantize grid while it's running ?

eg I'm running the 16 step sequence, but I want to launch a different pattern, or change direction, or length while it's running. At the moment if I'm a little out of time ( amazing but true sometimes ) it re-triggers as such.

I want my pattern triggers to anticipate the next step rather than be exactly when I press. Like Ableton I guess.

It seems like a pretty basic requirement to me, and I think you can in the Pro that's just been announced. But I want it in my one !

Any ideas ? Am I missing something obvious ?

If you select a different pattern it waits until the current pattern has completed before switching. I thought the same happens when changing direction, although I can't be sure.

If you change pattern length it instantly retriggers - that's a known issue.
