Is a Keylab usable with an iPad?
« on: December 27, 2014, 10:46:52 am »
I've downloaded a few apps like Camel Alchemy, Vogel CMI and Garageband for iOS.
However, I've never managed to establish a connection with the Keylab controller.
Is this because the Keylab is not a bluetooth device? Can the controller only be used with apps like iSEM, iProphet and iMini?

You need USB connection with keyboard and iPad. I don't know does key labs even work with iPad.

You need to use the high speed USB cable that came with the Keylab and a "camera connection" adapter ( USB to lightning adapter ) to be able to use your Keylab with your ipad. I use mine with Sampletank, Galileo, Magellan, C3B3, Organ +, GarageBand, Launchkey, Combo Organ, and a few other apps I can't remember off the top of my head.

Can someone give me some feedback on the experience with working with iPad + Keylab??

Looking to buy the Keylab49 to use with Beatmaker2 (and other apps) and wanted to know what the workflow was like and if there were any issues.
