I love my Beatstep, quite a handy tool..
there's room for improvement, as with all things.
first and foremost, send a unit to Image Line guys, there are known issues with the two, plus they offer no addition of templates for it since, in their words "if Arturia wants support in FL, they will send one", after a user offered to send them a beatstep for free. (something about relative mode not functioning well in FL)..
second one is probably doable on the current version, and that is a dual sequencer.. if using a sequence of 8 steps, there are 8 unused pads/knobs.. why not use them as well? a second sequene could be playing there, guess on the same midi channel..
and third one i think can not be implemented and would require a Beatstep v2, is a physical midi in, to allow daisy chaining of several beatsteps and / or other gear in a midi chain.
