Hello -

I'm trying to get V-Collection 3 installed on a new computer that's running Yosemite.

The installer fails as per: http://www.arturia.com/faq/vcollection/v-collection-3-does-not-load-in-yosemite-osx-10-10

I have the very latest eLicenser installed.

Per that FAQ, I am now trying to install each individual plugin to see if I can get things working.  However, when I try installing the Analog Lab 1.1.0 plugin, it tells me that I have to first install v1.0.5.  If I try installing v1.0.5, the installer fails the same way the V-Collection 3 installer does.

I would appreciate any help in getting out of this recursive install nightmare to get everything in V-Collection installed under Yosemite.

Thank you...

I have the same issue.  Unbelievable.  Even when using the updated licenser in the link.

Is there a solution other than installing all of the apps individually?   ???

Hello Yes...

You should drop eLicenser and use our new system coming with VCollection 4.
It also brings updates for free :)

This is good news!  Superb!  I'll try when I get home this evening. Nice to have more machines allowed although I think I have only one that can run all the plugins!  :-)   I was getting confused by references to V-Collection 4, is that coming soon?

Should I uninstall eLicenser or leave it alone for now?

Hello

As stated in this post,
Spark VDM is not updated to Arturia Software Center (replaced by Spark2)
And Analog Laboratory is replaced by Analog Lab
=> If you use those, keep your elicenser setted up.

Also I would advise to keep elicenser On
Here is why, we made a decryption of all presets, but we can't look into all your computer to find some live sessions or cubase sessions made with elicenser.
the plug ins will use elicenser if ever something is encrypted, so keep eLicenser for that.

Although all new presets will NOT be ENCRYPTED with elicenser.

We changed all that to simplify your life and because we are unhappy about the time it takes the support to answer issues.
That should slowly come back to a short time thanks to this.

To be clear, does one have to upgrade to V-Collection 4 in order to use the new ASC?

BTW: The Arturia website is getting hammered right now.  Getting lots of "500 Internal Server Errors."

No, the ASC will take care of V3.  You won't need V4, there are links to demo the new stuff.

Yeah, the website was all over the place today, what a shambles.  It's back now with all the V4 blurb.  Seems like I got on the Arturia bus at an interesting time, not the smoothest experience at all but at least I've most of the plugins working.  Kinda laborious to install each one and the downloads are slow as treacle.  It's taken a couple of hours to get this far.  Spark is missing from the V3 collection in ASC, not sure why, I know they are swapping it in V4 for spark2, so much for upgrades being free.  I'm not sure what the difference is though.

The new system is a big step forward though, moving to a new laptop will be much simpler.  And quicker, assuming it'll be painless if restoring everything from Time Machine.

Btw I love the modulations section in the Jupiter-8, that is genius!  Really great.  :-)

Great.  Thanks for the detailed response.

I think I'll wait a few days for the website issues to settle down before trying ASC.

Thanks again...

Hello.

I m not sure how hard us the load on the server so it is sensible if you see it is slow to wait a bit.

For vdm, it will not be ported to asc.
spark 2 is a free upgrade from sparkle or spark cdm, but not from vdm.

The problem I have now is that I downloaded and installed Spark VDM on it's own since it isn't in the collection but when I go to register all I have is the code and unlock for V3 which I can't use to auth VDM.  I can't see any option to get it authorised.  This is why it'd make more sense to have VDM under V3 in ASC and put the spark2 in a V4 collection.  Or just have it separate but in the ASC somewhere.  Anyway, it's late, I'm tired, I've had enough.  Luckily I've a Volca Beats arriving this week, sometimes hardware wins hands down!

I updated all plugins to the latest versions and Analog Lab still crashes Logic at AU-validation. I can open Analog Lab standalone and the version info says 1.2.0.405 build 405

In addition to that the new versions of Wurlitzer V and SEM V also crash the AU Validation!!

I use OS X 10.10.1, Logic 10.0.7

It's working for me in Bitwig, maybe try the VST version instead of AU, also make sure everything is setup and activated in the new Arturia Software Centre.  I haven't tried the Wurlitzer, SEM seems to be working fine so far but it wouldn't respond to it's own keyboard, needed external MIDI, strange.

I'm just stuck on installing Spark now.
