Midi Learn and relative value cc messages (Jupiter-8V)
« on: November 20, 2014, 09:08:07 pm »
Hi everyone!

I was wondering if you can, using Midi Learned parameters in Jupiter-8V, send relative value cc messages to modify a parameter value.

For example, in Reaper you can send cc msg 1 to add a small value to the current param value or send 127 to substract a small value. I.e.:
1=+1, 127=-1 (also 2=+2, 126=-2 and so on).

This would be brilliant because then my BCR2000 controller inifinite rotary knobs can easily control those parameters without parameter value jumping. (I also know about soft takeover but it's not a very good solution since you need to watch the computer screen then which I want to avoid.)

Is this possible? Any form of relative cc msg is ok since I am a programmer and can send MIDI data in any form.

Thank you sincerely for the help!

:-)

Kind regards,
Loopa
