pads double triggering

Hi, i have set my pads to midi note to use them in Poise drum VST, they are double triggering as if they are too sensitive or faulty, basically a get tiny notes around the main triggered note when recording in DAW, dont get this with me maschine. Any ideas, faulty?

They're pretty sensitive to light touch. Honestly...the only thing I've been able to do is basically practice with them. Over time, I've gotten to where I only occasionally get double notes, using precise, forceful hits. Somehow, they're still able to read my intended velocities pretty well.

It could also be that they're just finally "breaking in" with repeated use, though. lol
