Hardwiring the knob behavior to a couple of keys that can also be used to select presets is maddening. The person responsible for such an oversight should be called out and scoffed at loudly and publicly. That's not bad design, that's just downright stoopid. I cans see any number of combo pushes that would accomplish the knob behavior task without short circuiting the use of the pads as snapshots or presets. This one gets the golden dumb a** award for built-in design flaws. I have to go back to the Ensoniq VFX to find something engineered so far beneath its mission statement.
I love it, but the knob behavior thing, that's gotta find a better way.
