Sequencer not sending CV & gate to modular

I'm probably just doing something wrong, but for the life of me I can't get the sequencer on my new Beatstep to send anything out via CV or Gate to my euro modular. It sends CV & gate from the control mode when I hit a pad but it won't send anything when hitting play no matter how steps I have on. I have used the MidiControlCentre to set the CV/Gate channel to Global but still nothing...

It has the latest firmware too.

Any suggestions or ideas?

Yep, I'm an idiot! you have to set BOTH the CV/Gate channel and the Sequencer Channel to global to get the sequencer sending CV & Gate out.
