A number of head scratching problems
« on: October 10, 2012, 03:41:39 am »
In Pro Tools sometimes the space bar starts and stops a pattern, sometimes not.

Quantized record set to yes in preferences but notes are not quantized.

Purchased and registered Spark as part of the V collection, but in stand alone mode sometimes get a message I am using a demo. Does not happen in Pro Tools.

Hi,
sorry for not getting back to you sooner.

Concerning the spacebar, this is probably because when Spark has the focus keyboard event are not sent to Pro Tools.
Concerning the quantization, can you give me some details, maybe some screenshots.

Can you send me a screenshot of the error message related to the demo mode?

Thanks Kevin.

I will look at the quantization problem I had. Probably user error.

Looking at the V Collection, it includes Spark Vintage drum machines. In my applications folder, both Spark and Spark Vintage drum machines show. I'm guessing these are different applications and that's why I'm getting the demo message. Most of my work is in Pro Tools so no big deal. I would like to use modern sounds as well as vintage. is that possible when using the Spark application in the V Collection?

I have had no problem mapping pads on my MPD16. Is it possible to map the roll effect with the MPD slider?

Thanks again.

Hi,
Spark and Spark Vintage Drum Machines are 2 different products. With VCollection 3 you get Spark Vintage Drum Machines.
So you can not use Spark full version.
