1 Problem and 1 question with Spark

Running Spark 1.4.1 and Controller version 1.1.2.2.
With Pro Tools 8.0.5 LE on an Imac i7. Mac OS X 10.6.8.

1. The "select" button does not work in Pro Tools (all of the shortcuts - metronome on-off etc.)
Works fine in standalone.
I guess i am supposed to click off Spark Private In, and Spark Public In. That didnīt work though. And also i canīt find the "Spark Private/Public Out".

Also the little question mark dissapeares when running in Pro Tools.



Question:

1. Can you Record automation from the FX-live pad when recording in Pro Tools, and if so - How?

2. The "apple-key" + Z, does not work when i want to undo a recording/automation. I have to go into the Spark menu at the top of the screen, then "Edit", then "Undo.." manually.

I went in to Pro Tools -> Setup -> MIDI -> Input Devices, and un-click "Spark Controller, Spark Private IN" - while the "Spark Controller, Spark Public IN" remains clicked.

I canīt find a "Spark Controller, Spark Private OUT" or a "Spark Controller, Spark Public OUT". Donīt know if that has something to do with it.

Hi again,

I just figured something out, i am actually running current versions of Arturia Spark in Pro Tools:

Spark 1.1.2 32 Bit
Controller version: 1.1.2.2

I donīt understand why the RTAS version wonīt update, but the standalone version will??

Here is what i did in complete detail:

1. I installed the 1.1.2 version first when i got the software

2. I downloaded a ZIP version of 1.4.1 AFTER i registered the product online (i followed the link after the registration was complete)

3. I then had to remove the ".Zip" from the file because it would not open on my MAC

4. I then had a "Spark_dmg" file only, that now opened correctly

5. Inside i clicked on "Spark 1.4.1 Pkg."

6. It opens up correctly and under the installation page EVERYTHING is checked of (RTAS, VST, Library etc.)

7. It also reads "upgrade" on these installation choices.

8. Installation complete.

9. I open the standalone version, everything is good (Arturia 1.4.1)

10. I open Pro Tools 8.0.5 LE, everything not good (Arturia 1.1.2)

Okey, problem now solved.

Had to manually delete the Spark.dpm file, then run the 1.4.1.update again.

I now how the correct build, finally.
